Andrew Crummy, painted the ceiling of the Prestoungrange Gothenburg pub. Along with the faces of other colleagues and friends, Andrew kindly added my portrait to the ceiling of the pub (pic 1 panel 2 from the left). We received a nice press article in the Edinburgh Evening News.

Pics 3-7 : My latest mural 50's Rock 'n Roll Ice Cream Parlour : Linda and Jim Fraser's House, Prestonpans

In this narrow hallway, I created a ice cream parlour feel, with the chequered wall, the stools and the bar. We decided to use 3D items to bring this mural to life, so all the straws, stirrers, napkins, records and additional, tactile items. The juke box is actually a door to a storage cupboard - but the juke box is fully functional with its own CD stereo and CD rack. A great fun project to work on and one that Linda and Jim can continue to add to.

Pics 8-12 : Recently completed mural. Private commission in a clients home. Buddha on the main lounge wall with african ladies adorning the entrance hallway. Pics 10 and 11 are still photos of work in progress

Pic 12 -16 : My latest commission from the Prestoungrange Arts Festival. This was a large challenging mural. The mural is siuated at the Prestonpans Railway Station and I have installed mural boards inside and outside the original ticket booking office. This structure is old and in need of repair but instead it got a facelift of colour and history. Pic 12 - shows John Seth - who use to be the station master at Gullane Railway Station in the early 1900's. He is life size and many people talk to him! Pic 13 shows the existing window of the ticket office that has been boarded over. I have painted in a portrait of Peter, currently the station master at Bo'ness. Thanks for posing Peter! The plaque next to Peter gives you a history rundown of the Railway Station. Pic 14 - this is situated on the outside of the ticket office and shows old ticket stubbs modernised; the desinations are to visitor attractions in Prestonpans ie the Totem Pole, the Goth, the Burns Shelter and the Witches memorial. In the centre is a painted window that gives you a view of the Battle of Prestonpans site. The wagonway, the Thorntree and Bankton House. Bankton House is situated on the other side of the Railway Station and can be viewed from the new carpark extension. Pic 15 - this is Joe. Joe is a wee boy sitting reading his book in the ticket office. He dangles his feet over the bench and waits.......

Pic 16 - this is on the main wall inside the ticket office and provides the backdrop behind Joe. It shows Prestonpans Railway Station approx 60 years ago and one of the first steam trains to stop at Prestonpans Railway Station.
